D.E. Listserv
Once a student is admitted to the DE
program they are subscribed to the DE
listserv. The listserv is used by the
program to send students important
information regarding the program,
events, calls for papers and employment
opportunities. DE students are also
encouraged to post similar
announcements from their home
departments that may be of interest to
other DE students. The listserv can
also serve as a space where DE students
can discuss a variety of issues and
concerns they may have. The listserv is
un-moderated so discretion must be used
when posting.
Students also have the option of
subscribing themselves to the DE
listserv by completing the following
steps:
- Send a message to listproc@ucdavis.edu
- Leave the subject line blank
- In the body write: subscribe
wmsde yourfirstname yourlastname
Students who wish to unsubscribe
themselves from the DE listserv can do
so by completing the following
steps
- Send an email to listproc@ucdavis.edu
- Leave the subject line
blank.
- The only thing in body of the
message should be:
Unsubscribe wmsde
--
Please be sure to include the second
line with the two hyphens (--)
otherwise the system will try to
process any signature file that may be
attached to your email. If the system
tries to process a signature file it
will create an error and your request
will not be processed.
